Outside the Lines Theatre Company was founded by East Midlands–based director, theatre maker, producer, and performer Keira Dormer-Hazell. Following four years of professional training, Keira developed a strong passion for creating original work and empowering others to do the same.
Driven by this vision, she wrote and developed her debut production, Lavender Lads. The establishment of Outside the Lines Theatre Company marked the beginning of this journey, initially created to support and produce the first workshop of the piece, and to champion inclusive theatre-making.
Championing collaborative practice and self made artists, Keira hopes that OTL will continue to offer support to young and emerging artists as well as providing audiences with theatre that challenges their perceptions.

Keira Dormer-Hazell
Founder & Director of OTL
Keira works as a director, theatre-maker, producer and facilitator. Using her professional Drama and Musical Theatre training, Keira facilitates and teaches in settings across the East Midlands bringing her wealth of experience in directing, theatre-making and movement.
